one thing ive been into lately is this korean show called ‘boys before flowers.’ there is also a japanese, chinese AND taiwanese version (all azns are covered!!) it was a manga series before it was a tele show (you know…the kind of books you see in barnes and noble that you kinda have to read backwards. i think..i have never read one before). this girl named jandi is kinda middle class and works for her parents dry cleaning store. she is delivering dry cleaning to this really prestigious school, shinhwa high school. it is kind of like gossip girl (lol) where the school/administration is run by the rich kids. well, anyways, when she is there, she saves this kid from comitting suicide. he was targeted by this group called f4 (flower 4…really masculine). they are the richest/cutest boys in school. well, that makes headlines and the headmaster invites her to the school on a scholarship since she is awesome. well, on her first day, f4 shows up and they pour this weird tomato juice on this boys uniform (btw, their uniforms are AMAZING. i would wear it everywhere) and she ~declares war~ on f4s leader goo joon pyo. well, 3 out of the 4 f4 boys end up really liking jandi and they are always trying to convince goo to come around to her but he is stubborn. in the end joon pyo and jandi fall for each other and they are awesome.
this is joon pyo:

please trust me when i say I DO NOT DISCRIMINATE. CALL ME

Hey, Lauren! It’s Melissa.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that you are, like, the first person to even know or watch a KDrama. I started watching Boys Over Flowers a couple of weeks ago too and I totally love it. I’ve never read the manga but I have seem the JDrama version of it and it’s almost as cute as the KDrama. I’m excited to finish it because it’s super cute. And Goo Joon Pyo is seriously hot.
A tip though, if you want to find a better version of it, there’s community on LJ called “jdramas” and they have all the episodes uploaded onto a file sharing site.
PS: I hope you find your scarf!
