for easter i received my first pair of white sneakers since 7th grade (when we all wore air force ones). 

not to mention, they’re basketball shoes!! they have a lil’ hoop on the tounge. hook, hook, dunk, dunk, baby im ALL about three points.

last night i went to bed at 8:30. i woke up at 6:13 this morning, so i went downstairs and made coffee and pancakes for my mum and dad. i don’t drink coffee so trying to brew it was almost impossible. i first tried to pour water through the coffee filter and i had to throw that out. then i remembered there is a back compartment to pour water. problem solved! 

so my dads favorite show is terminator: the sarah connor chronicles. i watched it with him last night and there was this lil’ red head cyborg who looked just like shirley manson. garbage just came on my itunes shuffle and it reminded me to check imdb to see if it was actually her (and it is). 

after that was over, my dad turned on wmht. we watched a show called “nature: andes: the dragons back”. SO INTERESTING. in some places in the andes, it is desert weather in the daytime, and then at night it turns to -15 degrees below zero and everything freezes. ALL IN 24 HOURS. that is so fascinating. i thought the coolest thing were the flamingos that live there. there are these massive salt flats that spread from argentina to chile that are entirely white. the water is this burnt siena colour and it is caustic to all animals/humans/living things except for flamingos and brine shrimp. since nobody would really want to hunt flamingos (unless youre christina aguilera..see below) in water that will burn your flesh off, they are free to hang out with each other.
