i finally went out and purchased the september issues of my favorite magazines.

leighton looks like a certain someone………

what’s special about september issues, especially for an ~aspiring~ journalist like me, is that they’re substantially larger and are usually the best/most anticipated ones of the year. i mean, there are disproportional amount of ads, but in fashion mags like the two featured (and vogue, which hasn’t come out yet…RUDE, anna wintour, RUDE), september usually means the start of fall advertising campaigns for clothing empires, so its aesthetically pleasing if you like looking at waif thin 15 year olds from russia draped in garments you will never be able to afford.
in addition to getting my mind blown by gucci and prada, i’ve been doodling in my FASHIONARY (so clever) that i purchased off etsy here. it’s so much fun! i bought the new sharpie pens in black and blue to use exclusively for this and i feel like a real fash designer.

I LUV CLOTHES AND i NEED TO NETWORK AND WHEN IM TIRED I CALL MY FRANZZZZZZZZZ
does anyone watch that show (nyc prep)? sadly, i have been sucked in to the vapid hole and i tivo it to watch while i eat my breakfast. it’s honestly endearing how these kids seem to think they’re the elite of the elite. everyone who is anyone knows that the true ~nonpareil would never sign up for what is essentially reality television. its also tragic to see someone like camille think that being filmed will somehow make harvard want to accept her. it reminds me of how in legally blonde, elle sends in a video essay to harvard, except camille is not wearing a pink bikini. and she never designed a line of faux-fur panties for her sororities charity project, or was in a ricky martin video…
