Michael Phelps uninjured in 2-vehicle crash

BALTIMORE – Baltimore police say Olympic gold medal swimmerMichael Phelps has been in a two-car collision but not injured.

Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi says Phelps was driving a late-model Cadillac Escalade Thursday night when it and a Honda Accord collided at an intersection near downtown Baltimore.

Guglielmi says the female driver of the Accord was “shaken up” and taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

He says two passengers in Phelps’ car were not injured.

Guglielmi says Phelps has been interviewed by police and alcohol was not a factor.

Phelps won eight gold medals at the Beijing Olympics.

oh gosh, can you imagine being the person who hit good ol’ phelps?? imagine how pissed he was when his precious escalade (what is this, 2004? tacky!) was hit. i know i pick on phelps a lot, but i would never in a million years let it escalate to something physical. if there is television in heaven, when michael phelps was created, God must have just gotten done watching robocop because this kid is the human equivalent. DO NOT MESS WITH HIM. yall remember the olympics, and of course, the commentary. when most people are described, it usually is like ‘blue eyes, brown hair, fat/skinny.’ with phelps, it was all *HANDS THE SIZE OF DINNER PLATES*!! i just looked up ‘michael phelps body stats’ and usa today came up with this little gem:
